Psycho-Sexual Therapy
Relate Psychosexual Therapist are experience relationship counsellors, chosen
for their ability to share people’s problems sympathetically and who have
had further training which enables them to help people overcome their sexual
difficulties.
Therapy sessions are normally once a week and you will see the same Therapist
each time.
The meetings take place in the counselling room at a local Relate centre. The
first appointment the therapist will assess the problem and recommend the best
way forward. If further therapy is advised, the therapist will design an individual
treatment programme. The programme will include simple specific tasks to be undertaken
in private. The tasks are directed to resolving particular sexual problems.
What does it cost?
Cost per session is around £40 but may vary between counsellors.
